Life is Messy

Life is messy It’s not so neat as the “shoulds” and “shouldnt’s” would have us believe. But like everything else, it should be taken with a grain of salt. And not every day is going to be good, but undoubtedly there is good in every day. How should one approach life? One. Day. At. A. Time. We can’t be so sure that any tomorrow is going to be just like today. Believe that what happened yesterday should stay there. I know, I know - easier said than done. I try to keep my glass half full, even on the toughest of days, and I believe there truly is a silver lining to every situation. I strive to see the good in everyone and I do honestly believe that if you put good out into the universe, it hears you. The good will return; maybe not as soon as you would like, but it does happen. Be the one who chooses kindness. Not because you have to, because you truly believe it deep within your soul. My philosophy isn’t for everyone, but it works for me. It’s kept me happy, fulfilled, and has become the foundation of values I try to instill into my kids each and every day.

Live your life to the fullest, no matter what, and don’t waste a single second of your precious time on this Earth worrying, stressing, or being anything else but happy because life is just that. Precious. So call your mother. often. Eat that piece of cake, and for God’s sake, just wear the damn bikini. We only get one one life, one chance, one ride on the merry-go-round. Make it worth it every single day.
